The Visa Process

F-1 student visa!.
Pay your $100 Application and English Proficiency Test Fee $650 Deposit to receive your Placement Package, I-20, Official Letter of Acceptance and Student Enrollment Checklist with instructions for filling out the US Embassy DS-160 Application in order to schedule your F-1 student visa interview.
During the interview a determination for the F1 visa to be issued will be made immediately.
When approved, the US Embassy will collect your passport before you leave. In 1-2 weeks the visa information page will be applied to your passport and returned to you by mail or you may pick it up at the US Embassy. During this waiting period you will Deposit $4000. to $10,000. to your Training Account depending on Pilot license & rating program selected.
Arrive to the United States! Arrange accommodation, schedule your flight to one of our nearby international airports in Florida.
Arrange your international student medical insurance polity and we look forward to seeing you your first day of orientation.

To attend our school, students age should be 17 or older (or 15 with a parental waiver), and qualify for a visa or be a resident of the United States.
Pass TSA Approval for Flight training.
The amount of time a student may continue their training at TFA Fligh Academy depends on the type of visa the applicant holds and their current status.

Students applying for a new student visa, should apply to the school with enough time for the visa process, approximately eight weeks.

Students transferring from other institutions can apply up to two weeks before classes begin.

Students must report to TFA Flight Academy one week before classes begin.

The most common visa that permits full-time study is the student (F1) visa.
Other visas, such as tourist (B1, B2, or visa waiver) may permit part-time study.

Members of particular countries are permitted to enter the United States on the Visa Waiver Program. Countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program are listed below.
If you are a national of one of these countries, and you satisfy the three requirements below, you are permitted to enter the country without a visa:

Your core intention is to be a tourist.
You will participate in an Flight program that is less than 18 hours of class per week.
Your stay in the US will not exceed 90 days.

If you are NOT a national of one of these nations you do not qualify for a visa waiver.
In addition, please be advised that if your core intention is to study full-time in the U.S., you should apply for an F1 student visa.
